A few hours ago the OnePlus Ace was officially presented, an unprecedented series (at least under the aegis of OnePlus) but which will reconnect with the OnePlus 10. Since the company merged with OPPO, its marketing strategy has definitely changed, and not only because of the importance is given to the mid-range North.
The methodology with which the top of the range is presented has also changed, starting with the presentation of the OnePlus 10 Pro. If until last year the flagships arrived first in the West and then in China, at this turn the Chinese launch has anticipated the European one by several months. Not to mention the stratification of the models, no longer relegated to a single model as in the early years of OnePlus but now extended to more alternatives.
We have known the Pro model, we have known the “R” variant, and the appeal lacks only what we should know as the OnePlus 10. As per OPPO and Vivo “tradition”, OnePlus also begins to launch models without a consistent chronology, with the base model of the 10 series arriving months after its variants. A smartphone whose exact features we do not yet know, unlike the technical sheet that was leaked at the hands of the leaker OnLeaks.
The datasheet of the OnePlus 10 leaks on the net and is preparing to be discussed
According to him, the OnePlus 10 will have a 6.7″ Full HD+ AMOLED screen, probably an LTPO 2.0 panel with dynamic refresh rates from 1 to 120 Hz. The body would therefore be larger than OnePlus, thus being able to accommodate a more capacious 4,800 mAh, whose Warp Charge fast charging would rise from 65W to 150W.
The photographic sector would consist of a triplet of 50 + 16 + 2 MP, with a primary sensor, wide-angle and macro, while the selfie camera would rise from 16 to 32 MP. No OIS stabilization, while the Hasselblad collaboration and related color calibration and software filters would remain. Of course, the software will be based on Android 12 and OxygenOS 12.
So… Today, I can confirm that the vanilla #OnePlus10 is definitely coming and guess what… I have its complete specs sheet to share with you…😏 #FutureSquad

I left out the chip aspect, which would be accompanied by 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of memory, for a specific reason. For the moment, in fact, OnePlus has not yet decided whether to rely on Qualcomm or MediaTek and would be testing both ways. Also for this reason, the launch of the OnePlus 10 is scheduled for the second half of 2022, a choice that however raises doubts about the future of the OnePlus 10T.
Doubts that also arise about the chip model: if the OnePlus 10 Pro mounts the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and 10R the Dimensity 8100-MAX, which one will be on the OnePlus 10? It is hard to believe that there will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ because it would mean having a more powerful base model than the Pro and it would be a paradox.
A hypothesis pushed by many parties is that of the Dimensity 9000, MediaTek SoC already seen at work on the OPPO Find X5 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro. But the real novelty, in a negative sense, would be almost certain: I refer to the absence of the Alert Slider, which would thus remain exclusive to the Pro model for the first time.
