Spotify will customize a playlist based on the user’s pet personality and their own listening habits. While the streaming company first introduced the feature in 2020, it put the experience intact last week in its mobile app in honor of National Pet Day.
Spotify’s pet playlist isn’t just made up of dull instruments — they’re probably more for pet owners than for pets.
This feature is just a way for Spotify to let users share cute little pictures, and perhaps a distraction from the fact that artists don’t think streaming is fair compensation for them.
