As recently confirmed by the development team, the expansions of Cyberpunk 2077 will arrive in 2023, with the aim of offering the public new stories to live in Night City.
At the same time, there will be no shortage of DLC and more content coming for the ambitious neon-tinged epic. Despite this, CD Projekt RED’s commitment to Cyberpunk 2077 will not reach the same degree of intensity that it had characterized last year. This was confirmed by the management of the software house, on the occasion of a recent financial meeting.
During a meeting with shareholders, the CD Projekt RED team once again addressed the issue of post-launch support for Cyberpunk 2077, stating the following: “Of course, we will continue to support Cyberpunk 2077 and work to update it, but we believe that most of the work has already been done, to be precise during 2021”.
A trend is also confirmed by the distribution of CD Projekt RED’s financial resources. In the budget of the Polish team, in fact, the support for Cyberpunk 2077 has progressively become a minority item, with a more significant rationalization implemented in February 2022. At that time, we remember, the next-gen patch of Cyberpunk 2077 was in fact published.
