OnePlus has been busy this year, with the company launching a range of products, including flagship products such as the OnePlus 10R, TWS headphones, mid-range Nord CE 2 Lite and many others.
91mobiles reported in March that OnePlus was developing a Nord branded smartwatch. Now, well-known whistleblower Mukul Sharma has discovered the Nord smartwatch on OnePlus’ official website, which confirms this. And may imply an upcoming launch.
This will be the first Nord wearable device and will join Nord Buds, which is expected to be released alongside the OnePlus 10R 5G and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G at the April 28 event. Aside from the marketing name, any specifications for the smartwatch are not included in the list. The Nord smartwatch is expected to launch with the OnePlus Nord 3 in the second half of this year.
The price of a OnePlus Nord smartwatch in India will be between Rs 5,000 and Rs 8,000. There are no hardware details for this watch yet, but it can be speculated that it will provide features such as a color touchscreen display, heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitor, sleep tracking, step counting, smartphone notifications, music control, and more.
In addition to Nord smartwatches, OnePlus will soon launch the Nord brand TWS Ear, which may be launched at the event on April 28. The design of this product is shared exclusively by 91mobiles and coincides with the renderings disclosed in the FCC certification. The certification confirms that the product will have a charge of 41mAh and comes with a charging case of 480mAh.
As for other wearables, OnePlus currently offers OnePlus Watch and OnePlus Band in India. With the upcoming two products, its product portfolio will be further expanded. It can be speculated that Nord brand products will be slightly lower than the OnePlus products themselves in order to provide better differentiation.
