Blizzard has released a gameplay trailer starring Sojourn, the new hero who will join the cast of Overwatch 2 and who will be available in the beta of the multiplayer shooter scheduled for this month.
In the footage, we can see a taste of the abilities of the new heroine in action, with more details revealed by the official website of the game. Sojourn is a DPS specialized in medium-range combat and endowed with remarkable mobility and firepower.
His weapon is the Rail Rifle which fires high-frequency projectiles that generate energy on impact. This last aspect is particularly important, as the energy generated in this way charges the secondary fire of the weapon which consists of a high-impact shot.
Destructive Blow is an area ability that slows down and damages all the unfortunate in its range. As Blizzard explains, the skill has excellent synergy with Sojourn’s weapon, since it allows you to aim with greater precision with primary and secondary fire.
Sojourn’s second skill is the Energy Slide. As the name suggests, it is a quick slide that can be followed by a big leap at any time. Useful therefore both to move quickly, avoid enemy fire or reach elevated positions.
Finally, Sojourn’s Ultra is Overclock, thanks to which the bullets of the Rail Rifle pierce the enemies for a short time, thus causing considerable damage to the grouped enemies.
We remind you that at the end of April there will be a closed beta of Overwatch 2 for PC. It will focus on 5 vs 5 PvP and will allow you to try out the new hero Sojorn and the Circuit Royal, Escort, Midtown and Colosseum maps. There will also be the new Push mode and some substantial reworkings of well-known heroes, including Orisa, Doomfist, Bastion and Sombra.
