The LineageOS team is working assiduously on the official version 19.1 of the ROM based on Android 12L. The announcement and official release are still far away, but the developers are preparing new icons and wallpapers that can already be used before the launch of the complete ROMs.
LineageOS anticipates new wallpapers and icons of version 19.1
As you can see on LineageOS Gerrit, LineageOS 19.1 will arrive with new wallpapers designed by Asher Simonds for use within the ROM. Today you can see a preview thanks to the recognized developer XDA npjohnson.
If you want to download a particular wallpaper simply go to LineageOS Gerrit, scroll down, select the corresponding file and apply it to your device. Alternatively, you can install an unofficial LineageOS 19.1 ROM and use the wallpaper selector.
LineageOS 19.1 also includes new icons for system apps that are now in vector format instead of PNG. These are also visible by installing a new unofficial build of LineageOS 19.1.
LineageOS is the most popular custom ROM in the Android modding landscape, and the latest publicly available official version remains LineageOS 18.1 based on Android 11, but with Android 12 and Android 12L now available, the team will soon release version 19.1 based on Android 12L.
