According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the delivery time of the high-end MacBook Pro model has been greatly extended due to the shortage of parts and components in China caused by the global pandemic and the continuous blockade. Deliveries for the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro on the online Apple Store, built-in M1 Max and custom M1 Pro versions have been delayed until late May or early June, and in-store pickups won’t be available until June.
Some of the users who placed their orders are waiting for the MacBook Pro models they ordered in March and April to arrive, but now their shipments have been greatly delayed due to Apple’s supply problems.
For example, a customer named Eric ordered in March and was supposed to receive the machine by April 22, but now his order has been postponed until mid-May. Vera was supposed to receive the M1 Max MacBook Pro on April 13 but now estimates delivery dates are May 9 to May 16.
(1/2) The delivery status of the new iPhone SE made exclusively by Pegatron remains “in stock” on Apple’s online stores in many countries after the China lockdown, implying that the current inventories can still meet lackluster demand.

This has frustrated many Apple customers, who had been patiently waiting for their MacBook Pro model to arrive in April, and now many of them are forced to wait at least until May as Apple tries to fix its supply problems.
On the Q2 2022 earnings call scheduled for Thursday, April 28, Apple is likely to provide more details about its supply chain issues. In addition to the Delay in Shipment of the MacBook Pro, Apple also expects the Same Delay in shipments of mac Studios with M1 Ultra chips and some Intel-based Mac Pro models.
MacBook Air, Mac mini, and iMac seem to be available at any time, as do Apple’s iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watch.
