The FCC is a U.S. agency that smartphones have to go through in order to sell them in the U.S. And it is also a good source for leaks. Just like in this case, because new Pixel smartphones were discovered in advance.
Four unknown pixel models discovered
There are the following models: GX7AS, GB17L, GB62Z and G1AZG can also be found. The upcoming Google Pixel 6a will probably be known as GX7AS and the other models? Two for the Pixel 7 series and one for a first foldable?
The Google Pixel 6a has already been indirectly confirmed and will probably meet us in May at Google I/O 2022. In the meantime, July is the date in the room, as the chip crisis probably ensures that it comes a little later on the market.
For the Pixel 7 series or a Pixel Fold, it would actually be a bit early, I don’t expect that until autumn. Therefore, I am also surprised that more models were discovered at the FCC, with such a leak I would have expected later.
Google GX7AS, GB17L, GB62Z appears on FCC certification while GX7AS previously got BIS approval but now it is delisted from BIS Indian 🇮🇳 certification.#Google #Android #Pixel pic.twitter.com/MI6BMS59dX
