In recent weeks we are talking about Elden Ring, the new open-world action RPG from FromSoftware that has captured millions of players in the immense expanses of the Interregnum. The YouTuber ymfah, however, hasn’t forgotten a goal he had set for himself for some time: to complete Dark Souls 3 without walking.
Lasted for 4 long months, the content creator’s feat finally materialized, and a tough game like Dark Souls 3 was finished without ever moving the in-game character with the WASD keys or the left analog stick.
What we have reported at the top of the news is in fact a tutorial for those interested (and crazy enough) to embark on a journey similar to that of the YouTuber. As you can see, to traverse the areas of Lothric, the YouTuber made extensive use of a particular dodging ability reminiscent of Bloodborne’s dash. To direct these movements, the use of a bow was essential.
The character cannot even use the stairs, since there is an absolute veto on the use of movement via WASD or the stick, and this has made it particularly difficult to be able to complete certain areas (not to mention the boss fights).
Meanwhile, the Dark Souls trilogy servers remain offline on PC, with FromSoftware and Bandai Namco even removing the “multiplayer” tag from the official game description on Steam.
