Android 13 has already been in the testing phase for several weeks and it seems that the next version of Android will not belong in coming to non-Pixel smartphones. We refer in particular to Samsung’s smartphones, which over the last few years have begun to pay particular attention to updates and which now seem ready to significantly accelerate the distribution of Android 13, according to what emerged from a Sammobile report.
ANDROID 13 IN BETA ALREADY IN JULY
According to the sources interviewed by Sammobile, in fact, it seems that Samsung could kick off the public beta of Android 13 and One UI 5.0 as early as July, in order to publish the final firmware version by the end of the year. . Obviously it is still too early to know whether the timing discovered by Sammobile will be respected or not – the same newspaper warns about the mutability of the plans – but if this were to happen it would be a very positive sign.
In fact, remember that the public beta program of Android 12 on the S21 started last September , so it could be plausible that Android 13 will be released on the S22 not far from the official distribution of the operating system on the Pixel. For the moment this is only a hypothesis and we just have to wait to understand if the timing envisaged will be correct or not.
In the meantime, we remind you that Samsung is also working on the first version of One UI 4.1.1, one of the latest updates of version 4 of the proprietary interface. This update, however, could remain exclusive to the products coming out at the end of the summer – in particular Galaxy Fold 4 and Flip 4 -, since it should not introduce particular innovations for the other devices, a bit like it happened in recent years.
