Ubisoft’s unsuccessful foray into the “Battle Royale” game space, with sci-fi FPS “Super Hunting City” shutting down later this month, but the company appears to be preparing a new replacement. According to a new report on Exputer by insider Tom Henderson, Ubisoft is working on a PvPvE third-person shooter codenamed “Pathfinder Pathfinder.”
Apparently, while Ubisoft Montreal is still in a “very early” development process, the game uses a similar art style to Super Hunt. Players will take on the role of several heroes with unique abilities on an adventure in a four-player team. Each time the player appears on the periphery of the map at the start of each game, the task is to reach the center of the map and fight the main AI-controlled boss.
In order to reach the center, the player must also pass through two walls, but the location of the doors in the walls will change randomly each game. Other AI enemies, rival players, and teams will also appear in your path, and fighting them will level up your character, making you stronger, and AI enemies will grow stronger.
According to Henderson, Trailblazers will also feature a central hub similar to Destiny’s “Tower”, where players will be able to communicate with each other, use the store, go to the shooting range, participate in events, use vehicles in competitions, and more Wait.
Ubisoft has no official word on the game yet, so take this with a grain of salt for now. However, Henderson’s accuracy in information exposure is still quite high, so the game should be a surefire project.
