Samsung’s flagship mobile phone Galaxy S9 series released in 2018 has been removed from the support list, which means that the series has ended official support.
The March 2022 security update is the last security update for the Galaxy S9 and S9+. In 2021, the Samsung Galaxy S9 series was moved to the list of security updates and no longer gets system feature updates.
The device newly supports One UI 2.5 based on Android 10, but users can also choose a private flashing package to upgrade to Android 11 or even Android 12. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Chinese versions are equipped with the Snapdragon 845 processor, of which the S9 uses a 4GB RAM+64GB ROM storage combination with a 5.8-inch full-view curved screen; the S9+ uses a 5.8-inch full-view curved screen. 6GB RAM+64GB ROM storage, 6.2-inch full-view curved screen. The screen ratio of S9 / S9+ is 18.5:9, and the resolution is 2960×1440.
In terms of cameras, the S9 uses a single camera with a 12-megapixel F1.5/F2.4 large aperture (variable aperture) rear main lens, while the S9+ uses a dual camera, of which the dual 12-megapixel, main camera and the S9 Consistent. All are equipped with super-fast full dual-core sensors and support slow-motion playback at a frame rate of 960fps. Support autofocus and dual OIS optical image stabilization (F1.5 / F2.4).
The S9 series is equipped with a front-facing 8-megapixel lens with a large aperture of F1.7. Samsung S9 body battery capacity is 3000 mAh, while S9 + is 3500 mAh; other aspects, including iris scanning, fingerprint scanning, facial recognition three biometric technologies; support dual card dual standby and body storage expansion.
