YouTube TV’s official tweet announced that starting Wednesday, YouTube TV picture-in-picture support for iOS and iPad OS is now available to all users, but only supports iOS 15+ devices. The feature was initially tested with YouTube Premium subscribers in August and is now live.
The YouTube TV feature, which allows subscribers to watch live TV channels without purchasing a cable service, offers more than 85 channels in most markets in the United States, as well as features such as video-on-demand and cloud-based video playback.

We’re happy to share that picture-in-picture is now rolling out to your iOS 15+ devices. Simply select a video to watch and swipe ⬆️ from the bottom of the screen to return to the device’s homepage. The video can scale down and move across your screen.
