A new feature for the Gboard for Android makes it possible to no longer have to think about the right emoji selection. Google seems to be extremely fond of emojis and is currently putting a lot of effort into Gboard for Android.
Once again, users noticed an innovation that again has something to do with emojis. This is also due to the fact that colorful pictures, the successors of the smiley, are now an integral part of written communication.
First of all, users reported again via Reddit that they were able to find a new button in the Gboard. This new button is certainly similar to the text stickers that are also new but has nothing to do with them. The new button ensures that Gboard automatically adds matching emojis to your written text at the touch of a button.
Gboard for Android: a magic wand for emoji lovers
The new button appears in the action bar and has a magic wand icon. If you tap them, Gboard will automatically add emojis to the text field that might match the text you’ve already typed.
More and more users are reporting about the new button. It has probably appeared primarily since the last update on March 30th, but possibly not yet for German-speaking users. Whether with or without Google Pixel. I use emojis a lot. If I now only have to press one button for the right little picture, that’s awesome!
