Samsung is one of the most popular smartphone & consumer electronic brands in the world. While it utilizes multiple operating systems, this South Korean firm is known mainly for its Android-powered Galaxy series.
Samsung Galaxy A42 is a quality device offering massive storage space, a powerful Li-ion battery with Quick Charging Technology, an on-screen fingerprint sensor and 5G network support. However, the 4GB RAM featured by the device and its hybrid SIM slot might not be convenient for all.
Now the South Korean tech firm has started pushing out March 2022 patch update along with the One UI 4.1 on version number A426BXXU3DVC2 and has been spotted in Italy.
This update introduced Google Duo Live Sharing and the ability to turn off GOS (Game Optimization Service). GOS reduces gaming performance slightly to stop the processor from overheating and throttling, which can drastically drop frame rates and smoothness. The company was hit with the GOS scandal last month and had promised to offer the ability to turn off the GOS feature.
If you have the Galaxy A42 5G, then you can check the latest update manually by going to the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
Note: Before upgrading to the latest version make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection, we recommend you to download it over WIFI so that you will not face any error.
