On Tuesday, Nvidia released a GeForce 512.15 Game Ready driver update. In addition to introducing Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing (DLAA) to three new games and adding 11 new models to the G-Sync Compatible Monitors catalog, this version of the driver also brings support for Ghostwire: Tokyo and Shadowdancer 3 games. Here comes the optimization.
Ghostwire: Tokyo launch players will get Ray Tracing Reflections (RT Reflections) and Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) support, which promises to double the performance experience.
Action-adventure games Chorus, Jurassic World: Evolution 2, and No Man’s Sky also received Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing (DLAA) support, which improves image quality at native resolutions.
11 new additions to the G-Sync monitor compatibility list, including from Acer, ASUS, AOC, Japanese brands IO DATA, MSI, Phillips, and ViewSonic ) of 11 models. Nvidia has also added support for GeForce Experience optimization settings for six new games, including Ring of Eldon, Expedition: Rome, Mortal Online 2, Shadow Dancer 3, The Master, and Total War: Warhammer 3.
This update fixes some issues:
- Advanced Optimus: Fixed an issue where brightness levels would not change correctly when the monitor was set to NVIDIA GPU only mode and HDR was set to off.
- Fixed DWM.exe adding registry read when GPU is connected to G-SYNC compatible display.
- Advanced Optimus / Ampere GPU: Fixed an issue where Windows might restart in discrete graphics mode when the laptop wakes up after closing the lid.
- Fixed an issue where DVI / HDMI native resolution may not be available in display settings if the monitor contains an invalid EDID.
- Adobe Substance Sampler / Stager: Fixed Optimus profile to run on discrete graphics by default.
- Enscape: Fixed an issue where shadows were not rendering correctly.
- Solidworks Visualize Boost: Fixed an issue where GPU video memory may be underclocked when the application is running in the background.
- Adobe Premiere Pro: Fixed an issue where Adobe Media Encoder could crash with an out-of-memory error when encoding multiple R3D 8k files.
- Foundry Nuke: Fixed CUDA and OpenCL kernels returning incorrect results.
Additionally, there are some known issues with the Game Ready driver version 512.15 on Windows 10 / 11 platforms:
- When players are driving in water in the game Sonic All-Stars Racing: Transform, a collision may occur on the track.
- When the Ampere GPU is connected to an HDMI 2.1 A/V receiver, Dolby Atoms playback may lose audio.
- When using the Club 3D CAC-1085 accessory, the maximum output may be limited to 4K resolution @ 60Hz refresh rate.
