On March 17, according to Taiwanese media Digitimes, an industry source revealed that LGD is expected to supply low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) OLED panels for high-end iPhone 14 models. It is understood that the current small and medium-sized OLED market is still dominated by Samsung Display.
Earlier, the Korean media The Elec reported that Samsung will be Apple’s 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and LG Display will participate in the panel manufacturing of the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max for the first time, which is consistent with Taiwanese media’s claims.
In addition, according to a series of renderings exposed by 91Mobiles, two high-end models of the iPhone 14 Pro series will officially cancel the notch and switch to a punch-hole solution, which is a double hole similar to an exclamation mark. The two models of the iPhone 14 base series will continue to use the small bangs design.
As for the back design, the iPhone 14 Pro looks basically unchanged from the iPhone 13 Pro. The triple-camera array is housed in a camera bump that protrudes from the body, and the bump is huge. The frame part of the fuselage has not changed from the previous generation. It is still a right-angle frame design, and the button layout is not different.
