At this year’s CES, Samsung released a new generation of M8 smart display, 32-inch 4K resolution, equipped with Tizen OS, can be regarded as a combination of display and TV.
According to SamMobile, Samsung announced that it has launched the Smart Monitor M8 in South Korea, priced at 850,000 won.
According to reports, the Smart Monitor M8 is a 32-inch 4K monitor with a QLED display that supports HDR10+ and has a 99% sRGB color gamut. In terms of sound, it uses 2.2-channel stereo speakers and supports Adaptive Sound+. Design-wise, the monitor has a slim profile with a thickness of only 11.3mm.
The monitor runs Tizen OS, can run audio and video streaming services, and also comes with voice assistant Bixby, which supports Samsung SmartThings IoT Hub and Samsung Health. Elsewhere, the monitor supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 5, Wireless DeX, and Apple AirPlay 2, as well as a detachable SlimFit camera.
According to the video hall, Samsung Display will vigorously promote the smart display category in China in 2022, and will add a large number of smart screen products, requiring all channels to pay attention.
