Personalization is one of the main strengths of Google’s mobile operating system and the Repainter application has been designed to allow users to make the most of this feature with particular reference to Material You, the design language introduced by the Mountain View giant with Android 12.
In particular, Repainter allows users to have greater control over color management, from the choice of colors outside those of the background to the possibility of making them more vivid, also allowing you to decide whether to prevent live wallpapers from changing the theme color while you are using the device (so much so that this app seems to be frowned upon by the Google team).
What’s new in Repainter version 1.1.0
In the past few hours, the release of a Repainter update has been launched, which brings the application to version 1.1.0, introducing the resolution for some bugs found in the previous release, some general improvements and three new functions.
On Android 13 Repainter now supports the theme app icon on the home screen and a shortcut to quick settings has been added to activate the application or deactivate it with a single tap.
But the most interesting news is represented by the support to select two different colors for the main color and for the background colors in the apps, a feature that works without root on Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy devices with Android 12: the colors can be chosen from the background, through a “Basic” selection or through a completely customized option.
