The Opera GX is a dedicated gaming browser that appears to be successfully targeting a certain audience. I had already picked it up here in the blog quite often. Now there is another innovation: after the Razer Chroma, another RGB lighting is integrated. This time the networking is done with Logitech G Lightsync RGB.
Here, too, you can then use customizable lighting effects and animations when surfing with Opera GX, which then show your compatible Logitech accessories. It does this by having Lightsync RGB devices present custom lighting effects and animations that respond dynamically every time you open a tab, receive a message, or download a file with Opera GX.
Logitech G Lightsync RGB integration can be enabled by clicking Easy Setup and then navigating to the GX.Lights settings in Opera GX. You then have the choice to select preset lighting effects or animations or to create your own light show. Custom effects and animations can be imported into the browser with just one click.
Opera GX also displays a GIF on Logitech G keyboards when a notification arrives from Discord, Twitch, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, WhatsApp, or Instagram. When does it all start working? Immediately, because the corresponding update of the browser is now being distributed.
