According to a survey by SellCell, 40% of iPhone owners plan to buy the third-generation iPhone SE. Among iPhone owners who plan to buy the iPhone SE, 24 percent plan to use it as their primary device, while 16 percent plan to give the device as a gift or use it as a secondary device.
While most iPhone SE 3 buyers plan to use the device themselves, 10.9% plan to buy the device for their children, 10.2% plan to buy the device for a partner or spouse, and 7.8% plan to buy it for families such as parents or grandparents Member purchases.
Most users plan to buy the third-generation iPhone SE because of its price advantage, but 15.2% of users are mainly attracted by 5G connectivity, 11.3% of users like its compact form factor, and 6.7% of users think Touch ID fingerprint recognition is the most important it matters.
Most users upgrading to the iPhone SE will upgrade from the iPhone 11, 11.5% of users of this model intend to part with the new iPhone SE after the launch, and outside the iPhone 11, 6.8% intend to upgrade from the iPhone XR, 6.7% % of people plan to upgrade from the iPhone 12, and the desire to switch to the iPhone SE is widespread across multiple generations of iPhones from the iPhone 6 to the iPhone 13.
Among users not planning to buy the new iPhone SE, 66.2% said they are still satisfied with the current iPhone model, 9.3% are waiting for the iPhone 14 series to arrive, 4.1% say the device is too small, 3 % said it didn’t look advanced enough.
The independent survey asked 2,549 adult iPhone owners in the U.S. what they thought of the third-generation iPhone SE. The third-generation iPhone SE is widely expected to launch at Apple’s “Peek Performance” event on March 8, possibly alongside the fifth-generation iPad Air and possibly a redesigned high-end Mac mini and an updated 13-inch MacBook Pro.
