According to Luke Miani, host of a tech channel on YouTube, Apple plans to unveil a new green option for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini at its “Peek Performance” event tomorrow. This would be similar to what Apple announced at last year’s April 20 event with a purple option for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini.
Apple also plans to launch a purple model for the iPad Air, like the iPad mini already has, Miani said. The new iPad Air is expected to have a built-in A15 chip, an upgraded 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle front-facing camera with Center Stage support, 5G support on cellular models, and an improved Quad-LED True Tone flash.
Concept artist Ian Zelbo shared a mockup of the new color:
Apple’s online “Peek Performance” event will take place on March 8, with video streaming available on Apple’s website and YouTube. Other rumored announcements include a new iPhone SE, a so-called “Mac Studio” desktop computer, a new external monitor, and more.
