Samsung listed four new phones on its official mobile news site today, including the Galaxy M23 and M33. The two phones are very similar in terms of specs, with both phones having a 6.6-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, as well as a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The Galaxy M33 has a larger 6000mAh battery, an additional 2MP macro camera, and more RAM, starting at 6GB and going up to 8GB. Samsung hasn’t released the full details, so far we know that the Galaxy M33 is powered by an octa-core chipset.
Physically, the Galaxy M33 measures 165.4 x 76.9 x 9.4 mm and weighs 215 grams. Samsung hasn’t revealed the price of the Galaxy M33 or a specific launch date or market. But it will be available in Europe and India.
The Galaxy M23 has a smaller 5000mAh battery and lacks a 2MP macro camera. It ships in a single 4/128GB configuration. It has the same 6.6-inch display but is lighter overall at 198 grams and a little thinner.
Samsung also didn’t say anything about the price and details of the Galaxy M23, but we expect it to go on sale in Europe and India as well. Both the Galaxy M22 and M32 feature 6.6-inch 90Hz Super AM OLED displays with 720p and 1080p resolutions, respectively.
