Today, digital blogger @Digital Chat Station revealed that OnePlus will launch a new phone powered by the Dimensity 8100 processor. In terms of core configuration, the new phone uses a 6.8-inch FHD+120Hz OLED straight screen with a centered single-hole solution, a rear 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera, a built-in 4500mAh dual-cell battery, and a 150W fast charging solution.
According to the data, the Sony IMX766 has been applied to the Xiaomi Mi 12. This is a flagship sensor with an outsole, 50 million high pixels, a 1/1.56-inch outsole, and an equivalent single-pixel sensor size of 2μm after four-pixel integration.
It is worth mentioning that the blogger previously disclosed the prototype test results of the Dimensity 8100. According to reports, the chip “prototype test GFX ES3.0 170fps±, the results are similar to the Snapdragon 888/Kirin 9000. The TSMC N5 is in the top four. In terms of parameters, it is reported that the Dimensity 8100 uses TSMC’s 5nm process, consisting of 4 Cortex A78 large cores, CPU clocked at 2.85GHz, 4 Cortex A55 small cores, CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, and GPU is G610 MC6.
