In recent months, there has been talking of Sony PS launching a game subscription service to rival Microsoft’s XGP, which could be called “Spartacus.”
Recently, according to the news revealed by game industry insiders, Sony is likely to have determined the pricing strategy of “Spartacus”, the service will be divided into three different price points, let’s take a look.
According to industry insider Jeff Grubb, “Spartacus” is divided into three services at different price points:
The $10 basic version has basically the same content as the PS Plus;
- The $13 enhanced version will offer 250-300 games, all of which are available for download on PS Now, but no streaming service.
- The $16 Platinum Edition includes all of the above, plus classic games, streaming services, and game demos.
- While one of XGP’s biggest selling points is that all Microsoft first-party games will join XGP on launch day, according to Jeff Grubb, it seems that Sony won’t follow this strategy.
