Apex Legends Mobile will be released on February 28 in 10 countries

Respawn Entertainment has announced that Apex Legends Mobile will be available in select countries next week, starting with a total of 10 countries.

Rebirth said that Apex Legends Mobile is specially designed for touch screen operation, with simplified operations and perfect optimization, bringing players a most advanced battle royale game on mobile phones. Although it is a new version, it remains faithful to the original.

Like the PC/console version, the mobile game version is free and does not include paid items that can be enhanced by charging money. Apex Legends Mobile has its own Battle Pass, collectible skins and exclusive unlocks.

Apex Legends Mobile does not support cross-platform connection with the console and PC version of the game. In a blog post, Respawn Entertainment revealed that Apex Legends Mobile Games will be available in the following 10 countries starting February 28 for Android and iOS:

  • Australia
  • new Zealand
  • Singapore
  • Malaysia
  • the Philippines
  • Indonesia
  • Mexico
  • Peru
  • Argentina
  • Colombia

Respawn also announced the minimum specifications for Android and iOS mobile devices:

Android:

  • Android 8.1
  • Open GL 3.0 or higher
  • 3GB space
  • At least 3GB RAM
  • Screen size: N/L/XL

iOS:

  • iPhone 6S or later
  • System: 10.0 or newer system
  • CPU: A9
  • 3 GB space
  • At least 2G memory

Respawn Entertainment stated that once they make an official decision on the release from limited regions, they will share the news of the global release of Apex Legends.

Last spring, the beta test of Apex Legends Mobile began on Android devices in India and the Philippines, and later extended to more regions and players.
