Microsoft wants to acquire Activision Blizzard and the deal is expected to go through next year. After that, some games will continue to be available for the PlayStation and Co., but Microsoft’s goal is clear.
Xbox Game Pass with “interesting things”
The company wants to strengthen the Xbox Game Pass and so many expect that we will see the games there. But maybe we don’t have to wait that long, because there should be some “interesting things” “soon”.
Aaron Greenberg from the Xbox team isn’t allowed to go into the details yet due to embargoes in place, but it sounds like some games will end up in Xbox Game Pass before the final deal (which was the same for Bethesda, by the way).

“We can not say much about this due to the embargoes, but I can tell you that very interesting things are coming for Xbox and Xbox Game Pass soon to be excited about”https://t.co/nRVzKIqYVL pic.twitter.com/bou8qm7ECQ

Activision Blizzard includes brands like Diablo, Call of Duty, Tony Hawk, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro and many more. However, some well-known brands such as Warcraft are not available for consoles. However, Microsoft also offers Game Pass for PC.
In any case, I wouldn’t mind if we got one or the other highlight beforehand, because the current lineup for the Xbox looks a bit lean compared to the PlayStation. Microsoft could quickly make the platform more attractive with a few subscription games, and Activision Blizzard has a large selection.
