The Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.5 brings a ton of changes to the game, with tons of quests and gameplay fixes, several free DLCs, updated combat AI and crowd AI, and more. The update also includes a framework for a transmog system, which may be rolled out in full at a later date.
Mod author DJ_Kovrik posted on the foreign Reddit forum that the 1.5 update of Cyberpunk 2077 includes a framework for changing the character’s clothing without changing the character’s attributes, which is currently disabled in the game but can be accessed through Game.EnableTransmog () Console command to enable the ability to hide the face/head rig. He also said that his Hide Your Gear mod extends this functionality to other parts.
While hiding gear may not seem like a big deal, many games have the option to hide headgear. But the system’s console name “transmog” means that a more complete transmog system may appear in the future. Cyberpunk 2077 can certainly use this system, as gray, blue, green, and purple items keep popping up in the game. Those cool-looking cyberpunk looks will soon be replaced by the next random drop as your character levels up.
