According to IGN, the Halo TV series will reveal the face of the main character Master Chief for the first time in the history of the series – he will take off his iconic helmet in the series to reveal his face.
As Kiki Wolfkill, executive producer of Halo and head of 343 Transmedia Studios, said: Showing the Master Chief’s face is very important to the show’s narrative!
I think we’re going to start telling a character’s personal story, and once we get into the plot, obviously, you need to see that guy in that armor and under that helmet,” she said.
“You’ll see his face,” she confirmed the message, adding: “For some, it’s a momentous moment that they’ve been looking forward to for 20 years; for others, it may make them Very hard to accept. We will absolutely respect them. But for the purposes of this story, it is very important to relate to the Master Chief in a different way – it also means that we need to show his face.”
The Halo series will premiere on Paramount+ on March 24, and the Master Chief will be played by actor Pablo Schreiber.
