Recently, Cyberpunk 2077 released a next-generation game version for the console platform, and the XSX and PS5 have enjoyed a lot of improvements, supporting so-called dynamic 4K (mostly 1440p), 60 frames, and ray tracing.
In contrast, the relatively weak next-generation console XSS does not have the ray-tracing function, and the game quality options can only be locked in the same mode, that is, the resolution is 1440p, and the maximum frame rate is only 30 frames, which causes the anger of XSS players.
Today, CD Projekt RED confirmed that they are “considering” increasing the frame rate limit of XSS, but it is uncertain whether it will be implemented in the end.
Of course, this is not the first game that locks 30 frames on XSS. Previously, the resolution of “Dying Light 2: Stick to Humanity” on the XSS platform was limited to 1080P and locked at 30 frames, which caused a lot of headaches for players. The game development team said that the XSS GPU limited the frame rate of the game.
