Today, Cyberpunk 2077 version 1.5 was officially released, and the PC version supports AMD’s super-resolution technology FSR. Officially, the game has added the AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 1.0 algorithm to replace the Contrast Adaptive Sharpening (CAS) technology. On PC it can be enabled via “Settings > Graphics > Resolution Scale. The host platform cannot set this option.
Steam Deck will natively support AMD FSR technology, which means that the handheld will perform better when running Cyberpunk 2077. In addition, the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 will enable Variable Rate Shading (VRS). It can improve rendering performance and picture quality by changing the shading rate of different areas of the picture frame, and requires the support of compatible hardware.
Officially, the game stopped supporting Nvidia 700 series graphics cards. Since the graphics card driver no longer supports this series, it was decided to change the minimum system requirements for the Nvidia graphics card to GTX 970.
Also, due to technical limitations of non-native Direct X 12 on Windows 7, and limited or end of graphics driver support, the game will no longer support Windows 7 after June 15, 2022. If you continue with a later version of the game, the game may stop working on this operating system.
