The YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits released a video today to compare the running effects of the 1.5 patch of Cyberpunk 2077 on the Xbox platform. The demo platforms are Xbox One, Xbox One X, and Xbox Series S|X.
Performance details of each platform:
- Xbox One: 30fps dynamic 900p (mostly 720p) capacity 56.8g
- Xbox One X: 30fps dynamic 1440p capacity 56.8g
- Xbox Series S: 30fps dynamic 1440p capacity 63.1g
- Xbox Series X: Performance Mode 60fps Dynamic 2160p (mostly 1440p)
- Light pursuit mode dynamic 2160p 30fps (mostly 1440p) capacity 63.1g
Game load times on Xbox Series consoles have been drastically reduced, with the most notable improvements being improvements to shadows and lighting.
Ray tracing mode adds contact shadows and enhances some other effects. But ray tracing doesn’t work with reflections or global illumination, and the Xbox Series S doesn’t have ray tracing.
Overall, this version feels more solid across all platforms, although there is still room for improvement in the Xbox One version. The game’s framerate is almost perfect during gameplay (some cutscenes or high-load scenes occasionally drop frames).
