The Meta Italia team has decided to take advantage of Valentine’s Day to officially launch a new Facebook Messenger feature that we already talked about last week in our country: we are referring to the possibility of sending longer voice messages.
Even in Italy, in fact, the possibility of sending voice messages with a duration that extends up to 30 minutes has finally arrived, thus exceeding the previous limit of just 60 seconds, probably considered obsolete by the developers.
Even Facebook Messenger decides to focus on voice messages
The decision of the Facebook Messenger team to bring the maximum duration supported by voice messages up to 30 minutes has been welcomed by many users and this is also because most of the competing messaging services already allow you to entertain real discussions, also quite articulate, through voice messages (just to give an example and staying in Meta’s house, just think of WhatsApp).
Probably less happy will be all those users who do not like this type of content, as now the risk that even on Facebook Messenger very long messages start to arrive is nothing short of high.
This is the message published by the Meta Italia team on Facebook to announce the news:
Why limit your love message to 60 seconds? Messenger has increased the length of voice recordings to 30 minutes, so you can express yourself at your best and without interruption. Happy Saint Valentine’s! 🥰
