According to the plan, Samsung will launch a number of Galaxy A series smartphones in the next 2 months, including the Galaxy A23 5G entry model with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Dutch technology blog LetsGoDigital pointed out that with the release of the Galaxy S22 Three Musketeers, the Galaxy A73 and four other new A-series products have also been certified in Russia.
The Galaxy A53/A33 models are expected to arrive later this month, but the more entry-level Galaxy A23/A13 models may have to wait until late March.
As the successor to the Galaxy A22 5G launched in June 2021, the latter may hit the market at a price of 230 euros. Meanwhile, more details about the aircraft are emerging.
@OnLeaks broke the news that Collegedunia has shared a series of renderings and specifications of Samsung’s new entry-level phone. Although the front face continues the design style of the Galaxy A53 / A73, the rear camera module has been refreshed.
In terms of screen, the Galaxy A23 is expected to use a 6.6-inch @ FHD+ resolution, an Infinity-V (waterdrop-shaped) LCD screen that supports a 90Hz refresh rate, or a 13MP front-facing sensor.
If you prefer an AM OLED screen, the Galaxy A33, which costs around 320 euros, maybe more suitable. The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the power button on the right side of the fuselage, the volume ± adjustment on the left, and the speaker, microphone, and USB-C charging/data interface at the bottom.
Interestingly, the Galaxy A23 also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, in stark contrast to the pricier Galaxy A33/A53/A73. In addition, according to the Collegdunia website, the machine will be pre-installed with the Android 11 mobile operating system, but LetsGoDigital thinks it is unlikely.
Given that the previous generation has already used Android 11, the expectations for this generation to use the OneUI 4.1 software customized based on Android 12 is still relatively high.
In terms of processor, the machine will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC (integrated 5G modem @ 7nm process), supplemented by 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM (and is expected to provide a high-end version of 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM).
The rear camera may be a four-camera combination of 50MP wide-angle + 8MP ultra-wide-angle + 2MP macro + 2MP depth sensor, and supports 4K @ 30fps video recording, in addition to the built-in 5000 mAh battery or supports 15W charging power.
