Final Fantasy 14 has only had two deep dungeons so far that have been hugely popular with the fanbase, and now, Final Fantasy 14 producer and game director Naoki Yoshida has revealed that more are on the way.
At the Final Fantasy 14 fan festival in South Korea, Yoshida Naoki stated that he heard “a lot of people in the world want more deep labyrinths” and detailed that the new deep labyrinths will come with the 6.X patch update, these updates are expected to be completed in the next few months.
The first deep labyrinth “Palace of the Dead” in Final Fantasy 14 appeared in version 3.35, located in the southern forest area of the Black Forest. As a roguelike mode of an MMO game, the “Palace of the Dead” has a total of 200 floors, and players will start the game from the first level. The second deep labyrinth “Pillar of Heaven” was added in version 4.35 and has 100 layers.
