According to the Greymon55, AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors will be released in the third quarter, and AM5 motherboard test samples will be produced soon.
At CES in January this year, AMD announced the Ryzen 7000 series processors. AMD says the processor is based on the 5nm Zen 4 architecture and will be available in the second half of 2022. AMD will also introduce a new AMD Socket AM5 socket to the market for Ryzen’s “Zen 4” architecture processors.
At the CES press conference, AMD demonstrated the Ryzen 7000 series processors running “Halo: Infinite”, AMD CEO Su Zifeng confirmed that the Ryzen 7000 can achieve an all-core 5.0GHz, which means its single-core maximum frequency will exceed 5GHz. AMD also confirmed that the new Ryzen 7000 desktop processor will use the LGA1718 interface.
According to the news, the Ryzen 7000 desktop processor code-named Raphael will be equipped with an RDNA2 core display, support DDR5 memory and PCIe 5.0. AMD Ryzen 7000 desktop processors are expected to be released in August/September, and before that, AMD also has a Ryzen 7 5800X3D with the 3D cache.
