Apple is said to be working on a VR headset, which still has a few issues, but it’s coming. And who knows, maybe we will get the first preview at WWDC 2022 in June because there will be new software for it.
We’ve heard of realityOS before, which Apple could also just abbreviate as rOS. And according to 9TO5Mac, the alerts and logs from the Apple App Store and elsewhere are growing, so there’s something happening on that front.
If Apple really has a VR headset planned, which is coming in late 2022 or early 2023, then you have to test the software and then you have to give developers enough time. That’s how it was with the Apple iPad and the Apple Watch.
The VR headset might be a big project for next year, but WWDC would be the perfect place because it’s the event for developers. Let’s see what Apple has planned, but you should always know: plans can change.
Note: The featured image shows a concept by Ian, which is based on an older post. So this is what the Apple VR headset might look like.
