Tesla Cybertruck appears in Fremont factory, similar to Model S / X screen

Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup prototype was recently discovered at the Fremont factory. This appears to be the same model found in Texas.

According to a recent YouTube video, the Cybertruck found in Fremont has no door handles, only a few parts on the dashboard, and the sail compartment is partially covered. In addition, the wheels of this prototype do not have aerodynamic shrouds, similar to the model found in Texas.

The Cybertruck was spotted near the testing grounds at the Fremont factory, hinting at its identity. A few people could be vaguely seen near the electric pickup, tinkering around it.

During its third-quarter earnings call in October 2021, Tesla said it had built several prototypes of the electric pickup and had entered the testing phase. Lars Moravy, Tesla’s vice president of automotive engineering, said the company hopes to launch a new test prototype in 2022.

Last month, the Cybertruck saw some minor changes Cybertruck compared to the original November 2019 version. Similar to one recently spotted in Fremont, the Cybertruck depicted in images leaked in January has no door handles. The pickup’s mirrors look sleeker, and Tesla appears to have improved the design of the Cybertruck’s single windshield wiper.

During the Q4 2021 earnings call, Elon Musk said the Cybertruck will go into production in 2023. Tesla has introduced some new technology for the Cybertruck that still needs to be improved. Musk also hinted that Tesla is still considering the Cybertruck’s average cost to make it affordable once it hits the market.

“You can make infinitely enticing things, but if people can’t afford it, it limits their ability to buy because they don’t have the money. I’m more concerned that despite the awesome technology the Cybertruck has, How can we afford it. That’s what really matters,” Musk said.
