Sometimes Nintendo likes to do some advertising, sometimes it’s already indicated in advance and sometimes the message just pops up that a Nintendo Direct is coming up. And this time we only have to wait for a little over 24 hours.
The first Nintendo Direct 2022 takes place tomorrow, however, the focus is not on a global announcement as the event starts at 11 pm. So we won’t report on it until Thursday. And what will we see there?
Nintendo speaks of 40 minutes, so there should be a lot to see. I’m assuming a lot of Kirby and Splatoon 3, but probably not counting on the new Zelda. According to the description, the focus is on Switch games for the first half of the year.
So we’ll definitely see the Switch lineup by summer, and then in June (around E3, even if it doesn’t happen) there’ll probably be another Nintendo Direct as always, bringing highlights for the second half of the year.
