As we all know, OnePlus and OPPO have unified the OxygenOS and ColorOS teams: in reality, the software code has already been integrated even if the companies have preferred to keep different interfaces.
In China, HydrogenOS was replaced directly by ColorOS while in the West it was preferred not to proceed with a similar upheaval. However, for some time there has been talking of a new unified interface in the pipeline: here’s what we know about this mysterious OnePlus UnifiedOS.
According to the latest news, the unified operating system between OnePlus and OPPO could debut as UnifiedOS: obviously, this is exclusively an indiscretion to be taken with pliers and the rumors themselves are not yet clear.
In short, the name is still uncertain and just recently there has been talking of the possibility of seeing an interface called H 2 O OS (thanks to a patent filed by the Chinese company). Apart from the possible name, an insider offers us some more details on some aspects.
First, UnifiedOS, a merger between ColorOS and OxygenOS, should debut during the second half of 2022. It will also be based directly on Android 13, the next major update of Google’s OS. This means that it will take some time to get acquainted with the new UI.
The latter will then debut aboard a new top of the range of OnePlus, but for now, her identity is shrouded in mystery. Will it be the aforementioned OnePlus 11 Ultra / 11 Pro + or will we slip directly to the next generation?
