It’s the first simultaneous update for the new Pixel 6 devices, but again not without complaints right after the rollout. The brand new February update for the Pixel smartphones also stands for more bug fixes. But unfortunately, some Pixel 6 cell phone owners have noticed that there are new problems after the latest update.
At this point, it is not clear whether many people are really affected. But there are already a few coming forward, including well-respected colleagues like Artem from Android Police and Apkmirror.
Google Pixel 6: Stuttering and errors when scrolling in apps
Like other users, he reports that scrolling in some apps no longer works from now on. For some really not at all, others complain about big stutters and things like that. I’ve tried quite a few of the apps mentioned (Twitter, Reddit, Gmail, etc.) on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro without encountering these errors. So I’m lucky because otherwise, I had to take all the errors of the last few months with me on the new devices.
Other errors are also related to the display performance. Users report color issues when switching their Pixel 6 between 60 and 90 Hz. But even with this bug, you have to wait and see whether these are just a few exceptions or the rule.
Is anyone else suddenly experiencing absolutely horrific scroll/swipe issues on the Pixel 6 Pro after today’s February OTA?
All of a sudden, hours after installing, swiping down gets stuck and stops working in all apps, including the home screen and notifications.
