In addition to being the protagonist of the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung will also launch the Galaxy Tab S8 series of tablets at the Galaxy Unpacked conference on February 9. A press release leaked ahead of time, it shows the full look, hardware specs and promotional images of the new tablet.
Samsung offers tablets in 3 different sizes:
- Galaxy Tab S8: 11-inch TFT screen with 2560×1600 resolution
- Galaxy Tab S8+: 12.4-inch AM OLED screen with 2800×1752 resolution
- Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra: 14.6-inch AMOLED screen with 2960×1848 resolution
All 3 tablets are pre-installed with the Android 12 system, support a 5G network connection, and are equipped with octa-core processors based on the 4nm process. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be equipped with a 11200mAh capacity battery, provide up to 512GB of internal storage, and support MicroSD card expansion up to 1TB. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will only be available in Graphite, while the other two versions hit shelves in Silver and Pink Gold.
Both the Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra offer an in-display fingerprint sensor, while the Galaxy Tab S8 will have an integrated fingerprint sensor on the side. All devices in the series will support the S Pen, along with four sets of stereo speakers, USB-C charging, and super-fast charging at speeds up to 45W.
