As Apple began rolling out the iOS 15.4 beta to developers last week, some interesting new emojis emerged, CNET reported. In total, Apple has added nearly 40 new emojis, including some timely new facial expressions, gestures and a charming biting lip emoji.
Based on Unicode Version 14, which was first released in September 2021, the new emoji debuted on Emojipedia in January. In addition to the new emoji options, iOS 15.4 includes a feature that allows Face ID to work while wearing a mask.
In this new emoji list, there are seven new smiley faces. These include Melting Faces, Peekaboo Faces, Saluting Faces, and Holding Back Tears. Other notable emojis include “pregnant man”, red kidney beans and many multiracial handshakes. Below is the full list of emojis you’ll find in Apple’s upcoming iOS update.
