The company stated:
The team is developing the most ambitious plan in the history of the Call of Duty franchise, with industry-leading innovation and a broadly engaging series setting.
The studio’s expansion continues to add development resources around the world as development programs for ongoing games and new games in the Call of Duty universe continue.
After this, the IW official Twitter tweeted that a new generation of Call of Duty is coming.
Activision also confirmed that compared to 2020’s Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the sales of Call of Duty: Vanguard in 2021 are down year-on-year, while the overall stickiness of Call of Duty: Warzone is down.
At the same time, Call of Duty: Mobile Games increased in the fourth quarter compared to the same period last year, mainly driven by the Chinese region. In 2021, player krypton’s gold revenue exceeded 1 billion US dollars.
