AveryCafe recently founded the fan site Steam Deck Verified, which will directly extract data from the Steam database, allowing players to quickly verify whether their favorite games can run smoothly on the new handheld Steam Deck. After players enter the game name into the search bar on the Steam Deck Verified site, they can see the current Steam Deck support advantages and problems of the game.
For example, whether the interface text is clear, whether it supports the default controller settings, etc. At present, the site has included the data of 265 games, of which 112 are running without any problems.
Games marked as Verified will not require any adjustments to run on Steam Deck. Games that have a yellow light on the front and are marked as Playable will need a little tweaking to run smoothly. Games like Portal 2 and God of War 4 are currently marked as Verified.
According to Valve’s explanation in the certification system, the gray icon plus Unsupported means that the game cannot be run on the Steam Deck. Games such as Black Desert, Conan Exiles, and Dead by Daylight are currently unavailable due to their anti-cheat configuration.
