Samsung has confirmed the date and time of its next Galaxy Unpacked launch event: Wednesday, February 9, 10 AM ET/7 AM PT. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the invitations feature a large letter “S” that reads Epic Standard, indicating that we can expect to see the Galaxy S22 series debut in a Livestream.
Samsung has previously hinted that the new Galaxy S series flagship devices in the first half of the year will arrive in February, and this time it also includes devices that absorb the characteristics of the Note series for the first time.
Leaks for the Galaxy S22 have been pouring in over the past month. Visually, the S22 Ultra includes a coin compartment for the S-Pen stylus just like the Note, and the S22’s 6.1-inch display is rumored to be slightly smaller than the S21’s 6.2-inch panel. The leaks so far don’t suggest any major feature or design shifts for the S22, just some upgrades to keep up with the 2022 flagship.
If you think that’s convincing enough, you can go directly to the official website to pre-order the next Galaxy phone now. If you want to hear the full details from Samsung’s official presentation first, then pay attention to their live video on the Samsung website on February 9.
