The Halo Infinite Season 2 Pass will offer players points as a progression reward, 343 Senior Community Manager John Junyszek confirmed on the Halo Waypoint forum on Jan. 21.

Since Halo Infinite’s multiplayer mode was released in November 2021, players have been criticizing its free-to-play mode. Some players felt that the free battle pass didn’t offer many meaningful rewards, and 343 ended up putting all the cool-looking stuff on microtransactions in Halo Infinite’s built-in store.
Last week, 343 said it intends to lower prices on store items. John Junyszek said the price of bundles has dropped this week, and next week’s store update will start offering individual items rather than as part of a bundle.
The changes were welcomed by the gaming community, and tweaking the Battle Pass to allow players to earn points while playing the game was probably the most coveted demand among Halo Infinite players.
