In today’s release of Edge Dev 99.0.1135.5, Microsoft introduced some new features and fixed some bugs. This release adds the ability to change the air temperature unit displayed on the mobile new tab page and turns on the data loss prevention feature for websites by default. In today’s update, Microsoft also fixed the inability to delete the default search engine.
Like Chrome, Edge 97’s built-in search engine is no longer removable. This was originally Google’s intent, and this change is part of a redesign of the Manage Search Engine Settings page. Later, Google reverted the change after realizing in reports that the removal option was being used as a workaround to prevent search engine hijacking.
Other than that, here’s what’s new in Edge 99.0.1135.5 Dev

- Added the ability to display units of air temperature on the new tab page.
