Over the past few years, OnePlus has successfully positioned itself as a company that makes not just phones, but all kinds of devices, including smart TVs, earbuds, and more. If the rumors are true, the company will further diversify its product portfolio into new areas, including foldable phones and tablets.
While the rumored foldable phone isn’t expected to appear until 2023, the tablet is said to go official in the first half of 2022. Now, according to Indian source Yogesh Brar, the company may change its mind and decide to delay the launch of its new tablet to the second half of 2022. He did not share details on why the Shenzhen-based tech company delayed the release, nor did he share any information related to a specific release date.
Remember there was a rumour about a tablet from OnePlus scheduled for Q1 this year, it seems to have been delayed.
Launch timeline now is for 2nd half of this year.
*Will update if any changes to launch cycle are made*

Meanwhile, OnePlus ‘ sister company OPPO is said to be releasing a new tablet this year. Unlike OnePlus, OPPO is expected to launch the tablet in the first half of 2022. We’re curious to see if the two new tablets feature the same design, which has always been the case among phone offerings under the same group.
It’s worth noting that since the new tablet is in the early stages of development, there’s no guarantee that OnePlus won’t delay the product’s launch further.
