Google is redesigning its Contacts app a bit. The update, which was carried out silently, relocated menu items to a different location. But it’s not the case that the classic main menu is already completely gone.
- Google updates all of its Android apps.
- Now it’s time for the Contacts app.
- But the conversion is not complete yet.
For some time now, Google apps should no longer have the main menu on the left edge of the screen. A large number of well-known apps have already been rebuilt. But sometimes that’s not so easy, because some menu items have to go somewhere else and still be easily or logically accessible. Now it’s time for the Contacts app from Google.
Nevertheless, the previous main menu does not disappear completely. However, Google has moved a few more menu items behind the profile picture. For example, accessing the app’s settings. In the old menu, you will still find the label function and “Merge and correct”. This is already implemented for me as shown in the following screenshots.
